Counting Backwards

The Radio 4 news this morning did at least start with The Tory Party Conference but then went onto the avoidance of a Players' strike ahead of some football game this weekend. The next story was the terrible crash in Indonesia that has killed 54 people mostly children who were trapped in wreckage and then burned to death. Maybe they have decided to do a news countdown like the charts. If I had listened to the end before switching to Radio 3 I would have heard about the asteroid that is about to destroy the Earth. I will leave you to imagine your own version of the news. Is this idea any worse than having a "News Bunny"?
